To ensure safe work practices across the site by conducting inspections, identifying hazards, coordinating corrective actions, supporting risk assessments, facilitating safety trainings, and ensuring compliance with the permit-to-work system.
A. Site Inspections & Hazard Identification
- Conduct daily HSE inspections in work areas, warehouses, and operational zones.
- Identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and line-of-fire hazards.
- Raise safety observations and log them officially.
- Follow up with concerned departments until closure of observations.
B. Coordination & Corrective Actions
- Work closely with supervisors, technicians, and Managers to develop practical solutions for safety issues.
- Coordinate the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Track completion of actions and prepare status reports.
C. Risk Assessment
- Participate in HIRA, and activity-based risk assessments.
- Assist in updating risk assessments when new equipment, processes, or activities are introduced.
D. Incident Investigation
- Take part in incident/near-miss investigations.
- Support root cause analysis and assist in drafting investigation reports.
- Ensure corrective actions from investigations are implemented effectively.
E. Training & Communication
- Conduct toolbox talks (TBT)
- Deliver safety awareness topics such as PPE use, manual handling, material handling, line-of-fire, etc.
- Assist in safety inductions for new employees and contractors.
F. Permit-to-Work (PTW) System
- Issue and monitor permits such as:
- Hot work, working at height, Confined space entry, Electrical isolation, Lifting operations
- Ensure all permits comply with safety requirements and pre-checks.
G. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare daily/weekly HSE reports.
- Maintain checklists, inspection sheets, PTW records, and training logs.
- Assist in preparing monthly HSE performance summaries.
Technical Skills
- Any Certificate or Diploma in Safety /occupational Health or equivalent with relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of HSE regulations and industrial safety standards.
- Knowledge of PTW system, risk assessments, and investigation process.
- Computer proficiency: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), basic reporting tools.
Language Skills
- English (mandatory)
- Hindi (mandatory)
- Arabic language is a plus.

- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to influence teams and promote safe behaviour.
Attention to detail and strong observation skills.
