Position Summary

The Administrative Supervisor – Environmental Services (EVS) provides administrative and operational support to the EVS department to ensure efficient workflows, accurate workforce data management, and compliance with organizational policies. This role has a primary focus on scheduling, timekeeping/payroll support, hiring coordination, onboarding logistics, and administrative support for performance management processes.

Works closely with EVS leadership, frontline staff, Talent Services, and internal departments to coordinate workforce-related administrative functions and maintain accurate records. Serves as a key resource for administrative operations, ensuring timeliness, consistency, and alignment with organizational priorities.

Uses sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential information and supporting leadership initiatives. Promotes accountability, stewardship, and operational efficiency while supporting departmental goals. Performs other duties as assigned in support of departmental and organizational objectives

Standard Work: EVS Administrative and Operational Support
  • Coordinates EVS staffing schedules including daily staffing alignment, PTO tracking, FMLA tracking, and call-in documentation
  • Maintains and audits timekeeping/payroll data to ensure accuracy, reduce errors, and support payroll processing
  • Assists with hiring coordination including conducting interviews, candidate tracking, and pre-employment process support
  • Supports onboarding logistics including system access, scheduling alignment, and coordination with training and Talent Services (does not own training content or delivery).
  • Maintains accurate employee records related to attendance, status changes, and workforce tracking
  • Assists leadership with performance management documentation, tracking, and follow-up coordination (e.g., counseling, corrective actions, attendance tracking).
  • Supports reporting and tracking of workforce-related metrics (e.g., attendance, vacancies, staffing levels, OT drivers).
  • Coordinates with Talent Services, Payroll, and department leadership to resolve timekeeping, scheduling, and employee record discrepancies
  • Supports supply ordering, invoice tracking, and basic vendor coordination as directed.
  • Responds to administrative needs, urgent staffing issues, and operational requests to support continuity of EVS services

  • Experience with healthcare systems such as Epic, UKG/Kronos, or similar timekeeping systems.
  • Experience with reporting tools and workforce analytics


Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

  • High School or Equivalent

  • Associate Degree

Other information:

Experience Essential:

- Two to four years of administrative or clerical experience with increasing responsibility.

- Experience supporting scheduling, timekeeping, payroll, or workforce coordination.

Experience Preferred:

- Experience in healthcare or Environmental Services operations.

- Experience working with HR processes, onboarding coordination, or workforce systems.
