Job Title: Controller Corporate Support and Financial Analysis

Report To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) 

Purpose: The Controller Corporate Support and Financial Analysis is responsible for assisting the CFO and Controllers with setting reporting and implementing process improvements in the consolidation of financial results, cash management and ensuring effective system of controls over accounting transactions, accounting systems, company policies and processes.  

Responsibilities:

• Prepare consolidated financial statement package and required lender reporting timely and accurately

• Prepare timely cash forecast and accounts receivable summary reports, as required

• Update and monitor the extraordinary expense tracking

• Assist the executive team with quarterly board reporting deck

• Implement, maintain and enhance the Pigment financial reporting

• Work with the Controllers to reduce the monthly close timeline to 10 days or less, including submission of reporting package to Corporate

• Work with CFO and Accordion to implement a budgeting and forecasting tool within Pigment

• Ensure that the company remains in compliance with laws and regulations

• Build and maintain data for the calculation of the company’s key performance indicators. 

• Provide financial analyses, as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions and contract negotiations

• Additional controller and analysis duties, as needed

Requirements

Tools for the Job: 

Required: 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or related field

• At least 10+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience

• Occasional travel to corporate office in Milwaukee

• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills 

• Experience supervising, developing staff and working in an entrepreneurial environment

• Experience with working with a growing company and creating best practices and development of team members

• Previous experience working in a roofing organization

Preferred:

• Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant
• Construction accounting experience
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions
