Compensation Range: $18.21 to $24.83 - hourly/paid biweekly

- Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
- Performs delegated and ancillary basic nursing skills, including activities of daily living, monitoring of patient condition, body mechanics, providing nutritional support, and other standards of care, policies, and procedures.
- Documents care as provided.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and take appropriate action.
- Communicates clearly, honestly, appropriately, and in a timely manner with patients, families, and care team members.
- Completes documentation of care/behaviors with accuracy according to facility guidelines.
- Respects the confidentiality of patient information and adheres to HIPAA and facility guidelines.
- Recognizes and reports changes in the patient’s condition.
- Demonstrates caring attitudes and behaviors to develop therapeutic relationships.
- Demonstrates respect, equity, and empathy in actions and interactions with culturally diverse and vulnerable patients.
- Demonstrates knowledge of facility safety procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned. Occasional weekend work to support special events.

- Reports to work on time as scheduled; completes work within designated timeframes.
- Actively participates in departmental and organizational performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.
- Strives to uphold regulatory requirements to ensure continual compliance with departmental, hospital, state, and federal regulations and policies.
- Follows policies and procedures for infection control, safety, and risk management to ensure a safe environment for patients, the public, and staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years of age (21 for driving positions with a valid driver’s license).
- Must be able to legally work in the United States.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and breath alcohol test (if applicable).
- Must complete employee health meeting.
Required Education/Licensure/Certification:
- High School Diploma (or equivalent), preferred.
- Valid Colorado Certified Nursing Assistant Certification, required.
- Current BLS certification (or must be obtained within 90 days).
Experience:
- One (1) year Nursing Assistant experience, preferred.
- Med/Surg or Long-Term Care experience, preferred.
