Position Summary:

The Massage Therapist is responsible for providing an exceptional level of massage therapy to our clients. They will work with the other therapists to ensure the client receives the highest quality of care in a therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality massage therapy services to clients in line with their individual needs and preferences, ensuring a personalized and therapeutic experience.
• Perform therapeutic massage treatments as required, with a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and various conditions.
• Utilize cupping therapy techniques to promote healing and relaxation, as well as to alleviate pain and inflammation.
• If qualified, perform TMJ massage treatments to address issues related to temporomandibular joint dysfunction.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients, adhering to all sanitation and hygiene protocols.
• Communicate effectively with clients to assess their needs, preferences, and contraindications.
• Maintain accurate client records and uphold strict confidentiality standards.
• Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and best practices through continuing education and professional development.
• Collaborate with other team members and contribute to a positive, supportive work environment.

Requirements:

• Valid Massage Therapist license in the state of New York.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Licensed Massage Therapist.
• Certification in Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a strong plus.
• TMJ massage experience.
• Cupping Therapy experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and professionalism.
• Flexibility to work various hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
• Commitment to adhering to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
