Full Time 40 hour position.  8am-4pm includes an on call rotation and weekends as needed.

Requirements

As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for keeping our building, apartments, and grounds in excellent condition. This position leads and performs a variety of routine mechanical and building maintenance functions that encompass all trades and disciplines. In addition, you will need to perform preventative maintenance and equipment repair as needed.

 

  • Conduct routine building inspections and perform preventative maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient operation of building systems.

  • Diagnose and repair plumbing, HVAC, electrical, mechanical systems, fixtures, and appliances.

  • Perform general building maintenance, including painting, drywall repair, and minor construction tasks.

  • Maintain interior and exterior campus facilities and assist with grounds maintenance and seasonal duties, including snow removal and operation of plow equipment.

  • Support campus operations by assisting with meeting room setups, special events, and general facility needs.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and communicate safety, environmental, or resident-related concerns to appropriate departments.

  • Maintain maintenance supplies and inventory levels to support daily operations.

  • Serve as part of the emergency response team by responding to safety and security concerns, fire alarms, and participating in fire drills and safety initiatives.

  • Participate in a 24-hour on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Summary

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • 3 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic computer skills

Candidate must successfully complete Pre-Employment Medical Clearance consisting of a Physical, PPD, Drug Test.
