Registered Behavior Technician

Description

Job Responsibilities:


  • Support the social/emotional and behavioral needs of children/adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • Utilize evidence-based strategies to teach appropriate communication, socialization and independent skills.
  • Collect, organize, and summarize objective data on patient progress with treatment goals.
  • Collaborate and participate in clinical team meetings and ongoing training.
  • Implement programming according to protocols established by Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate effectively with fellow Registered Behavior Technicians, BCBAs, families, and additional team members to support the needs of the client.
  • Must be available 2:00pm -6:00pm

Requirements and Qualifications


  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be a BACB credential Registered Behavior Technician.
  • Must be willing and able to travel to clients/families for sessions.
  • Adhere to Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) code of Ethics. http://bacb.com/ethics/.
  • Attend trainings and maintain effective knowledge of identified qualifications/competencies.
  • Assimilating and carrying out direction from supervising behavior analyst for therapy and data collection.
  • Providing effective behavior evidence-based treatments.
  • Collecting unbiased and accurate data during therapy sessions.
  • Proactively communicating with supervising behavior analyst and administrative staff for questions and feedback.
  • Ability to work in a team and to share responsibilities and duties.
  • Compensation will be based on experience and skill set.
