Job Description

Stevenson High School (Lincolnshire, IL)  is seeking a Engineering Design and Careers Club Sponsor for the 2026-2027 school year.

Purpose:
The Engineering Design and Careers Club (EDCC) is a club for students interested in exploring different fields of engineering. Members participate in hands-on activities related to each engineering field, such as a "strawberry DNA extraction lab" for biomedical engineering and other design challenges and experiments. The club also invites guest speakers to talk about their experiences and careers in engineering. EDCC helps students learn new skills, explore possible career paths, and gain real-world engineering experience in a fun and collaborative environment.

Estimated Start Date: 08/13/2026

Salary and Benefits:
Hourly pay

  • External Candidate will be paid $17 per hour
  • Current Faculty please refer to the current Agreement
  • Current Support Staff will be paid at your current hourly rate.
