Position Summary:
Serve as bilingual support in the mainstream classroom during the Migrant Education Program (MEP). MEP serves migratory children currently living in our region. Spanish is the most commonly spoken language other than English. The Bilingual EA will assist with all instructional and social activities for MEP students, including K-12 students. Bilingual EAs are generally assigned a classroom or grade range, K-5, 6-8, or 9-12. The Bilingual EA works with teachers serving these groups of students (elementary grades, middle school grades, or high school grades) to prepare and implement academic and enrichment activities.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is highly desired. Excellent communication skills. Bilingual and able to translate written documents from English to Spanish.

- 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Rate of Pay:
B-2-1 // $18.10-$21.78 depending on experience.
