You will also act as a key point of contact for electronics topics in selected customer discussions and launch-related operations.

This role combines technical understanding, product ownership, hands-on problem solving, and coordination across different teams and partners. You will contribute to both the continuous improvement of existing electronics and the development of new electronic devices for future missions.

Your role is based in Berlin, Germany.

  • Identify opportunities to improve our electronic products, devices, and related processes.

  • Review technical issues, help identify root causes, and suggest practical improvement measures.

  • Implement selected technical improvements directly, depending on scope and complexity.

  • Coordinate electronics-related improvements with external contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

  • Support the development of new electronics for flight hardware and ground support devices.

  • Maintain and improve technical documentation, product knowledge, and internal know-how.

  • Provide electronics-related support during launch preparation and launch operations when required.

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in electronics, hardware development, embedded systems, technical product ownership, or a similar technical role.

  • Solid understanding of electronic devices, hardware systems, technical documentation, schematics, testing, and troubleshooting.

  • Ability to understand complex technical topics and translate them into clear explanations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience working with external contractors, suppliers, or engineering partners is a strong plus.

  • Structured, analytical, and hands-on working style, with the ability to work independently and take ownership.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate technical topics across different stakeholders.

  • Team-oriented mindset, curiosity, and willingness to build deep product knowledge over time.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence working with mission management, engineering teams, customers, and external partners.

  • Excellent written and spoken English skills are required; German is considered a plus.

  • Competitive compensation package tailored to your experience and responsibilities

  • Subsidies for lunch, mobility, and special occasions, depending on eligibility
