Amberwoods of Farmington seeks an excellent Maintenance Assistant join our team!
Our facility values our employees in a supportive, customer-service-oriented environment. We are located within proximity to I-84 and a fifteen-minute drive to downtown Hartford and on a bus line. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Completes repairs in the nursing facility timely and properly, including minor plumbing, limited electrical, wall repairs, minor mechanical and minor equipment repairs
- Completes preventative maintenance tasks as directed, per schedule
- Works on small renovation projects as needed
- Performs room changes
Qualifications
- 1 years of maintenance experience in skilled nursing facility or apartment building
- Very organized.
- Fast worker.
- Excellent customer service
- Good communicator
- Good at using technology – apps, programs, TV programming, etc
- Dependable with attendance
- Pass background check

Expected hours: 40 per week, plus on any hours done on call
