Career & Technical Education Lab Aide
Student Worker

Umpqua Community College is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented student to support Career & Technical Education programs in both lab and classroom settings. This role plays a key part in keeping instructional spaces organized, functional, and ready for student success. You’ll work closely with faculty and staff while gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative, technical learning environment.
Position Duties
Duties may vary depending on the program area, but typical responsibilities include:
- Assisting with installation and setup of software
- Supporting the maintenance and organization of lab equipment
- Helping students navigate lab tools and equipment during class sessions
- Assisting with inventory tracking and ordering of classroom and office supplies
- Providing general support to faculty and department staff
- Completing other related duties as assigned
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day
- Occasional bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting (up to 20 lbs.)
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently enrolled UCC student taking at least 6 credits
