Position Summary:
The Student Success & Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for recruiting eligible students and providing structured support through workforce and STEM lab sessions. The position focuses on increasing program enrollment while helping students build career awareness, employability skills, and understanding of post-secondary options, including technical training, dual enrollment, and apprenticeships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit and enroll eligible students from target schools in accordance with program guidelines
- Build and maintain relationships with school staff to support recruitment and student participation
- Plan and deliver workforce and STEM lab sessions focused on career exploration and employability skills
- Guide students in identifying career interests and setting education and workforce goals
- Coordinate group sessions, workshops, and outreach activities
- Track student participation and maintain accurate documentation for reporting
- Support program events, school visits, and community outreach efforts
Position Duties
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate degree required in education, human services, or related field
- Experience working with middle or high school students
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to lead group sessions and meet recruitment goals
- Basic organizational and data tracking skills
- Willingness to travel to assigned schools and work occasional evenings or weekends

- Experience in student recruitment, outreach, or workforce programs
- Knowledge of career pathways, technical training, and postsecondary options
- Familiarity with TRIO or similar programs
