Job Title: Quality Technician

Department: Quality Control

Reports to: Director of Quality & Customer Satisfaction

Basic Function: Maintain and manage QC Activities.

Corporate Responsibilities:

1. Taking an Active part in the Evolvement of Company Culture:

  • Encouraging interactions of company employees in company sponsored events.
  • Grasping leadership of potential barriers to promote teamwork.
  • Meet established company and departmental goals.

2. Manage Personnel: (As Needed)

  • Establish annual personnel goals and objectives.
  • Determine career plan for each departmental employee based on capability.
  • Establish the freedom of work through defined tasks and responsibilities.
  • Encourage involvement in company functions to promote family concepts.

Provide Education to Corporate Strategies throughout the organization

Departmental Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and coordinate incoming product inspections.
  2. Manage and coordinate final inspections (dock audits) including reporting of Non-Compliance issues.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  1. Initiate, document and communicate NCP issues under your primary role.
  2. Assist department members and manager with tasks as deemed necessary by manager.
  3. Become cross-trained in all aspects of the department.
  4. Maintain departmental documents.
  5. Travel (if necessary) to assist in quality issue resolution.

Qualifications:

A college degree in related Quality field or work related experience. (3 years) Computer operation skills and software knowledge to compliment work tasks. Ability to read and write in English fluently. Must be able to lift up 20 lbs. as part of the job function.
