Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

  • Observe good housekeeping and safety procedures.  Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly through daily completion of assigned tasks. Mentor and train others as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.  Escalate any unusual conditions and potential safety hazards.
  • Support work groups overall performance goals and develop actions for improvement.
  • Participate in team meetings: review daily goals and metrics and provide deviation analysis when required.
  • Move material throughout assigned work areas as needed with consideration for longer term goals; efficiently sort and manage incoming materials to assist in expediting receipt to service or inventory locations.  This will include daily regular communication and collaboration with the leads and supervisors.
  • Loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing carrier trucks; resolution of receipt discrepancies.
  • Handling the disposal of pallets and crates efficiently while coordinating the proper disposal and recycling of materials.
  • Respond to urgent requests from Supervisors and others by executing with immediate action and support.  Question instructions if not clear or suggest alternative action if applicable.
  • Support and suggest alternative processes for material handling across other lines as necessary, based on production needs or staffing shortages due to absences and vacations.
  • Demonstrate the ability to adhere to quality guidelines by continually seeking methods of improvement for all functions of the position. 
  • Develop the ability to coach others as needed. 
  • Ensure that all products and parts meet Keysight quality guidelines as they move throughout the production / warehouse processes.
  • Develop expertise in role to then work with and train Jr. members of a team to effectively complete work assignments. 
  • Receive information from team members regarding customer needs and product requirements and utilize this information to preform one’s functions.
  • Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve any obstacles or delays that may occur in the production process.
  • Participate in Lean initiatives by recommending areas for potential process improvement related to quality, work processes and environmental safety and health.
  • Participate in the monitoring of daily Business Logistics and Supply Chain processes such as Dispatch desk, Oracle inventory control systems, FTZ reporting and material receipts fall out reports.
  • Open to support overtime shift work as business needs require.

 

 Receiving Job Responsibilities

  • Support receiving all daily International and Domestic deliveries consisting of parcels, LTL, TL freight modes. Receipts can consist of a variety of sizes and weights.
  • Inspect parcels for external and internal signs of damage and thoroughly document.
  • Inspect documentation consisting of Purchase Orders, Supplier Packing list or Keysight PRP return document and validate contents of packages.
  • Documentation of any unlisted item or parts received from supplier or internal Keysight Business.
  • Creation of exceptions cases when necessary to ensure quickest possible resolution and receipt to correct inventory location.
  • Input validated parts orders into WMS and / or Oracle as required by receipt type: IR, PO, RMA, Account Alias or Defective receipts.
  • Generate detailed problem cases to track any non-conforming parts receipt, problem items, or miss route.
  • Follow documented receiving instructions for systematic processing to ensure the meeting compliance standards.
  • Validate correct parts shipped or received.
  • Generate unit and parts ID tags for material receipts.
  • Delivery of daily receipts to designated locations within the warehouse.
  • Support daily Cycle Counts as necessary.

 

Shipping Job Responsibilities

  • Support International and Domestic shipping transactions using a variety of carriers such as FedEx and UPS. These shipments can consist of a variety of sizes and weights.
  • Inspect outbound parts, service instruments and mics shipments against shipping documents to ensure correct contents of shipment.
  • Physically package parts, service instruments and mics shipments per our internal work instructions to ensure quality of packaged goods and safe transport to customer.
  • Open daily International and Domestic deliveries consisting of parcels, LTL, TL freight deliveries. Deliveries can consist of a variety of sizes and weights.
  • Inspect documentation consisting of Purchase Orders, Supplier Packing list or Keysight PRP return document and validate contents of packages.
  • Documentation of any unlisted item or parts received from supplier or Keysight Org.
  • Creation of exceptions cases when necessary to ensure quickest possible resolution and receipt to correct inventory location.
  • Input validated parts orders into WMS, Salesforce, Oracle as required by type: IR, PO, RMA, Account Alias or Defective process.
  • Generate detailed problem cases to track any non-conforming shipment, problem item or miss route.
  • Follow documented shipping and receiving instructions for systematic processing of articles in a timely basis.
  • Validate correct parts, service instruments and mics. items are shipped or received using internal systems such as Oracle, Salesforce Service Delivery Consol, Oracle Transportation Management (OTM).
  • Generate unit and or parts ID tags for material shipments or receipts.
  • Support as necessary delivery of daily shipment or receipts to designated locations within the warehouse.
  • Support daily inventory Cycle Counts, parts put a way or parts pulling activities as necessary.
  • Support daily Cycle Counts as necessary.


Qualifications:

 

Requires a minimum of 1 year directly related experience.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution is required.
  • Desired 2-5 years of experience in a logistics, warehouse or material handling role.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs.
  • Polished computer skills include use of Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Sharedoc, Sales Force, Oracle and OTM.
  • Ability to self-manage and improve incrementally on daily assigned tasks.
  • Consistent reliability in attendance.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Good understanding of Keysight WW Logistics network.
  • Secondary education or certified course work in logistics is desirable.
  • Able to support overtime shiftwork as necessary to support business needs.
