Ongoing Additional Information: Show/Hide - Participates in all building cleaning activities such as mopping, sweeping, or cleaning floors, vacuum and shampoo carpets; dust cabinets, desks, and building surfaces; clean glass partitions and windows; scrub, strip, wax, and buff floors; spot clean spills/stains on floors or surfaces; remove vandalism marks from building or equipment; clean, sanitize, and polish all washroom fixtures; fill dispensers, gather and dispose of refuse.
- May conduct ground maintenance including landscaping, snow removal, painting, raking, or other similar tasks.
- Consult with Lead Custodian regarding unusual maintenance problems and make recommendations concerning the purchase of supplies, material, and equipment.
- Perform other comparable duties of a like or similar nature as assigned.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to follow directions with attention to detail
- Ability to climb 20-30 feet
- Able to lift 50-60 pounds
- Endurance to walk/stand for majority of shift
