Safety & Security Associate
Summary: The Safety & Security associate is responsible for controlling all incoming traffic, monitoring and directing vehicles to the appropriate parking lots, and ensuring guest safety by constant surveillance of the company’s property

Summary: The Safety & Security associate is responsible for controlling all incoming traffic, monitoring and directing vehicles to the appropriate parking lots, and ensuring guest safety by constant surveillance of the company’s property
Responsibilities
- Stand and greet each car approaching the gatehouse; check each pass holders’ car and ensure all guests have their own passes
- Confirm that guests of pass holders have the appropriate pass
- Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
- Notify the office for all club deliveries and guest tours and direct to the appropriate area
- Keep events chalkboard current for each week. Announce special events of the day, including any current events on sales. Hand out fliers to all vehicles regarding upcoming events.
- Maintain guest log and POS register as required by the post
- Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities in a timely manner.
- Ensure the safety of the property by never leaving the gatehouse unattended
- Follow all health, safety standards, security guidelines, policies, and initiatives
Requirements
- Superior customer service skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with many types of personalities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Must be able to work independently and complete a daily list of assigned tasks with little or no supervision
- Majority of shift will be spent on feet in a fast-paced environment. Position involves frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and lifting to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Must be able to work entire season, from Memorial Day through Labor Day without any vacation, or time away from work.
- Must be at least 17 years of age
Education & Experience
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (we also accept high school seniors)
Experience: Six (6) months in a hotel / resort setting preferred
Resort / National Park Concession experience preferred
Hourly rate of pay $17.00
