The Southeast Arkansas Education Service Cooperative is now accepting applications for a Preschool Teacher.

 

Minimum Qualifications

AA in Early Childhood Education; OR AA with CDA; OR AA with 12 hours early childhood education

 

Skills Required

Ability to manage a preschool classroom by establishing a safe and secure learning environment

Prepare and execute weekly lesson plans to promote early literacy, math, and social/emotional skills

Physically able to lift items less than 15 lbs., squat, and sit on the floor

Ability to manage classroom materials and supplies

Maintain regular contact with parents/caregivers to provide progress reports

Attend parent nights, staff meetings, and staff development training as needed

Maintain complete and accurate records including the creation of a portfolio for each student

Comply with DHHS and ABC rules and regulations

Follow School District and Southeast Arkansas Education Service Cooperative policies and procedures

 

Successful applicants must pass local, state and federal criminal background checks as well as a child maltreatment registry check.
