What you’ll find here

Yosemite Lakes Park is a non-gated community in the Central California Sierra Mountain foothills located between Yosemite National Park and Fresno near the unincorporated town of Coarsegold. YLP covers about 10 square miles at elevations from 900 to 2,200 feet, naturally landscaped by oak tree, pine tree, and boulder landscapes, pristine views of snowcapped mountains and the broader views of the Central Valley. All homes are custom-built on 1 acre and larger home sites. There are 2,263 parcels with about 1,870 homes.



YLP is administered by an elected board of the Yosemite Lakes Owners Association (YLOA). Declaration of Restrictions (DOR) are not stringent as YLP caters to people who enjoy an active outdoor lifestyle and the community retains its character by individual pride in ownership.



Amenities include a 9-hole golf course with pro shop and coffee shop, riding/boarding stable, clubhouse with restaurant, lounge and library, swimming pool and tennis courts, a ball field, picnic areas, basketball court, volleyball court, tether ball, private security, storage facility, hiking/riding trails and fishing lakes.



 



Yosemite Lakes





Position Summary: The Pool Attendant is responsible for monitoring the Association’s pool facility to ensure a safe, clean, and orderly environment for residents and their guests. This position includes opening and closing the pool facility, enforcing rules, maintaining cleanliness, and overseeing snack shack operations (if applicable). This is not a lifeguard position and does not include water rescue responsibilities unless otherwise certified and designated.





Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Facility Monitoring & Rule Enforcement


• Monitor pool area to ensure compliance with Association rules and posted 

regulations

• Verify authorized use of the facility (residents and guests)

• Politely address and correct rule violations

• Escalate ongoing or serious issues to management or Courtesy Patrol

Opening & Closing Responsibilities

Opening
Duties:

• Unlock and open pool gates, restrooms, and designated areas

• Inspect pool area for cleanliness, safety hazards, and readiness

• Ensure furniture is arranged appropriately (chairs, umbrellas, tables)

• Confirm required signage is in place

• Open and prepare snack shack for service (if applicable)

Closing Duties:

• Clear pool area of all patrons at closing time

• Secure all gates, restrooms, and storage areas

• Clean and organize pool deck and furniture

• Close and secure snack shack, including compliance with cash handling 

procedures

• Ensure all equipment is turned off/stored appropriately



• Report any incidents or maintenance concerns from the shift

Snack Shack Operations

• Open, operate, and close the snack shack during assigned hours

• Provide courteous service to residents and guests

• Handle basic food and beverage sales in accordance with Association procedures

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the snack shack area

• Monitor inventory levels and report items needing restocked

• Follow all cash handling and reconciliation procedures

• Comply with applicable health and safety standards

Safety Oversight

• Maintain awareness of pool activity and potential hazards

• Ensure required safety signage is present and visible

• Respond appropriately to incidents by contacting emergency services when 

necessary

• Complete incident reports and notify management

Cleanliness & Maintenance Support

• Maintain cleanliness of pool deck, furniture, and surrounding areas

• Remove trash and debris throughout shift

• Straighten chairs, tables, and umbrellas as needed.

• Report maintenance or safety concerns 

Customer Service

• Provide a visible and approachable presence for residents

• Answer general questions regarding pool rules, hours, and use

• Promote a respectful and positive environment

• De-escalate conflicts and refer issues to management when needed

Documentation & Communication

• Complete daily activity and incident logs

• Report rule violations, safety concerns, and maintenance issues

• Communicate with management regarding any significant events



Plus other work-related tasks as needed



Work Schedule

• Seasonal position (May to October)

• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and peak hours
