Job Description

Not your average chef role.

And frankly, we’re not looking for an average chef.

Arlo is searching for a Chef de Cuisine—a culinary leader with talent, discipline, creativity, and just the right amount of obsession. Someone who understands that great food is not just plated—it is orchestrated.

We are building something special: a restaurant known for bold flavor, thoughtful execution, genuine hospitality, and the kind of consistency that earns attention for all the right reasons. Our target? Bib Gourmand status—exceptional food, exceptional value, and a dining experience people talk about long after dessert.

No pressure. (Some pressure.) Salary range $100,000-$105,000

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven culinary leadership experience as a Chef de Cuisine, Executive Sous Chef, or similar role
  • A serious passion for food, technique, and hospitality
  • Strong leadership presence—calm under pressure, sharp in execution, respected by the team
  • Experience in elevated, high-volume, chef-driven restaurant environments
  • Deep understanding of kitchen financials, labor management, and cost controls
  • Creativity balanced with discipline (yes, both matter)
  • A palate for excellence and an eye for detail
  • Someone who wants to chase recognition—not for ego, but because standards matter

Bonus points if:

  • You understand what makes a restaurant Bib Gourmand-worthy: approachability, consistency, and exceptional quality
  • You can coach cooks into chefs
  • You believe mise en place is a lifestyle, not a task
  • You know that “good enough” is usually not

Why Arlo?

Because this is an opportunity to build, shape, and lead something meaningful. At Arlo, we believe hospitality starts with the people behind the pass. We invest in talent, support creativity, and create space for ambitious culinary professionals to do their best work.

If you’re ready to lead a kitchen, build a reputation, and create food worth talking about—we’d like to meet you.

Apply now. Bring your knives, your leadership, and your standards.
