ASRC Federal’s Summer Technology Readiness Intern Development Experience (STRIDE) offers undergraduate college students the chance to apply their technological interests and knowledge to exciting real-world missions. 

  

We are seeking an intern who is currently enrolled in programs focused on IT disciplines.  Work is performed in a collaborative environment in a remote setting.  Interns will gain hands-on experience using a variety of technologies in support of our corporate mission.   

  

Work location: Remote (this position will be based in Alaska); relocation assistance is not available

Background investigation:  Must be a US Citizen with ability to successfully complete a company background investigation 

  

Program dates:  10-week summer internship, June – August 2026  

Hours:   32 hours per week   

  

Education:  

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Technology or other relevant studies 
  • Must be a junior or senior in college at the time of application submittal. 

  

Summary: 

Work closely with our IT and software teams on a variety of potential assignments, including, but not limited to, cloud configuration and architecture, help desk trouble shooting, and software infrastructure configuration.   

  

Basic Qualifications:  

  • Knowledge of cloud capabilities with providers like Azure, AWS, or Google 
  • Ability to build test completed tasking and demonstrate results 
  • Ability to document work and present tasking, findings, etc.  
  • Ability to perform research and analyze data. 
  • Ability to work independently but also in various collaborative team environments. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft office tools such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.   
  • “Can do” positive attitude.   
  • Must be a US Citizen with ability to pass a company background investigation. 

  

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Experience with software installation and configuration.  
  • Familiarity with Linux.  

  

Interns will work closely with dedicated mentors and managers, fostering meaningful connections within our company while exploring a range of technology disciplines. Additionally, interns will have the opportunity to contribute to research projects developed by our tech experts. While extensive work experience is not required, a commitment to learning and a genuine passion for emerging technological advancements are essential.
