Job Description

About the Role

As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing logistics and asset coordination for NOV’s WDP projects, supporting our major offshore partnership. This newly created role offers full ownership over the offshore equipment pool, coordination of deployments, and process optimization.

About Downhole Broadband Solutions (DBS)

NOV's Downhole Broadband Solutions removes limits on bandwidth and transmission speeds found with mud pulse telemetry (MPT) so you can make informed decisions based on real-time downhole data.

MPT uses pressure pulses in the fluid column to send data, and just like dial-up internet, it has very limited bandwidth (5-40 bits per second). Bandwidth and transmission speed limitations and mud flow requirements for communication restrict the amount of information available to make timely, informed decisions. Whether that results in reliance on modeled data instead of actual downhole conditions or restricting the quantity and quality of logs which impacts geo-steering and hitting the sweet spot, the amount of data you can access in real time impacts drilling efficiency, safety, and wellbore placement.

What We Offer

  • High-impact role with full ownership of a major equipment pool.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge offshore asset tracking technologies.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with key industry players.
  • Competitive salary, bonus, and career growth opportunities.
  • Flexible hybrid work options.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the offshore equipment pool, coordinate deployment, and prioritize resources.
  • Lead logistics planning, track assets, and oversee mobilizations.
  • Forecast and manage third-party equipment needs.
  • Own the R&M (Repair & Maintenance) and Sales pro forma process.
  • Support client meetings and offshore planning sessions.
  • Champion service quality initiatives and link equipment telemetry to maintenance insights.
  • Utilize systems like MaxTracker, ePMS, Kabal, and TallyMaster.

Qualifications & Skills:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in logistics, equipment planning, or supply chain operations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Fluency in English; Norwegian is a plus.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Kabal or equivalent logistics systems.
  • Experience as a Planner or Service Coordinator within the offshore oil and gas sector.
  • Familiarity with offshore equipment management and related documentation.
