The role of the S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) Demand/Constraints Specialist in Global Sales and Production Planning, M&S partners with cross functional team members from Brand, Field Ops, Finance, Yield Management, Forecasting, Allocation to align consensus on vehicle line free demand U.S. Retail sales mix to identify and break any constraint that would prohibit meeting customer demand.
Responsibilities
- Lead monthly U.S. Retail entity free demand sales mix consensus meeting which includes:
- Collect key data indicators (SPCPS production, Dealer Mix Feedback metrics, Sales trends, Dealer Inventory)
- Publish consensus results
- Lead breaking constraints actions from identification to implementation
- Analyze SPCPS monthly program free demand production data to identify potential supply constraints
- Coordinate cross-functional team meetings to determine feasibility of breaking constraint
- Actively manage feedback loop between NASPM, MP&L, Brand and Finance on production limitations and changes to activate all available levers to impact supply and demand
- Support key S&OP Modernization initiatives
- Support weekly Vehicle Line Scheduling team meetings
- Support monthly Quad meeting
- Support monthly Dealer Advisory Board meetings, as required
- Develop and present ad hoc reports for senior management, as required
Qualifications
- 5 years or more in Manufacturing or Sales organization
- General knowledge of SPCPS, Order Scheduling, Brand, Field Operations, MP&L, Capacity Planning
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Team player, self-motivated 'can-do' mindset that can accel with minimal supervision to achieve objectives
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong skillset with Excel
- Ability to use incomplete data to plan strategically
