Description
The Bakery Worker is responsible for supporting the efficiency of the retail and production bakery by completing daily cleaning checklists, repackaging, and maintaining consistent quality standards. Key duties include Dishes, floor cleaning, packaging, labeling, sanitation, and general janitorial tasks. This role is essential in ensuring product quality, food safety,and keeping the work environment clean and safe.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete retail Closing checklist.
- Bread repackaging
- Sweeping, mopping, dishwashing, and other cleaning tasks.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures at all times.
- Support other production-related tasks and other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in food production or manufacturing is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 60 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability.
Work Environment
- Production facility environment with exposure to food ingredients, cleaning chemicals, and industrial equipment.
- Requires adherence to dress code and safety policies, including use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
