Grade Level Team Leaders

• To be a positive role model and leader for the grade level

• Must have sound curriculum knowledge, effective pedagogy and be enthusiastic, motivated and innovative with a demonstrated willingness to accept challenges in a positive manner

• To be an effective communicator and collaborator with other teachers, school leaders, parents and students

• Attend and actively participate in all team leader meetings with building leaders to contribute toward achievement of school-wide goals

• Expedite the timely and accurate dissemination of information to colleagues.

• Facilitate weekly grade level team meetings (events and curriculum)

• Collaborate with building leadership with the development of presentations for faculty meetings

• Collaborate with building leadership with the development of special grade-level and/or school-wide events

• Collaborate with colleagues and building leadership with the planning of trips, assemblies, and special events for the grade-level

• Oversee, in collaboration with building leadership, the budget for respected grade-level team

• To assume other responsibilities as determined by the administration

As a stipend position, work will need to be done outside of contractual hours
