General Summary:
The selected candidate will safely work with a team in a manufacturing environment performing a variety of operations to assemble, and potentially troubleshoot, electro-mechanical systems using a variety of hand & power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment to correctly assemble/test medical devices. They will be responsible for maintaining product flow, quality, and work schedules.
Essential Functions:
- Work in a team environment building multiple Medical Devices by following relevant Manufacturing Process
- Instructions (MPI) and procedures
- Performs a wide variety of electronic, mechanical, or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies
- Follow a lean manufacturing process to achieve a daily build goal
- Assembles, repairs, inspect and/or test products following written instructions
- Ensure systemic accuracy of inventory
- Assist in cycle count efforts as determined
- Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
- Knowledge and understanding of production process work instructions and operates within them to
ensure that a device conforms to its specifications
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
