Supply Chain Lead is responsible for ensuring the supply of parts, equipment and tooling for the continued maintenance of the fleet.
Main duties include:
- Support the development and implementation strategies to improve service levels, lower overall maintenance costs, and increase internal efficiencies within the Technical division.
- Control the planning, procurement, repair and storage for the supply of aircraft parts, components, material, tools and equipment, to support scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance activities.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure that supply chain activities are in compliance with QCAA and EASA regulations, while optimised to the highest efficiency and lowest cost impact.
- Oversee day to day Repair, Purchasing and Logistics operations.
- Supports the main stores functions by working with Stores Supervisor optimizing process and reducing waste.
- Active role in procurement and dispatch of AOG spares.
- Liaising with Finance to ensure timely invoice settlement & budget targets are met.
- Conducts other duties as reasonably directed by the Senior Manager Supply Chain.
Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Aviation or Supply Chain.
Minimum 10 years airline experience in different Supply Chain positions.
Knowledge in repairs, purchasing, sales, warehouse and warranties.
Previous experience in Vendor Management with aircraft manufacturers, airlines or MRO.
Knowledge in AOG Support.
