Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in menu planning and development, contributing innovative ideas to enhance the dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other cooking tools.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
- Support dietary aides in preparing meals that meet specific dietary requirements when necessary.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a fine dining setting.
- Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
