Full-Time F&B Line Cook

JOB SUMMARY :

The Cook position will require you to prep, set up the hot line, cold line, and cook food to order from the established menu while keeping your work area and kitchen safe, clean, and sanitary.

FLSA CLASSIFICATION:

• Non-Exempt hourly

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Produce high quality food according to recipes and menus or assigned special in a timely, organized manner.
• Prepare, season and cook soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other food items in a restaurant.
• Ensure a high level of sanitation and safety at all times
• Following all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division and department
• Other duties as assigned by employer

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to stand, walk and bend repetitively during entire shift.
• Must be able to climb stairs with or without accommodations
• The employee is regularly required to lift 10 pounds, frequently required to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to use hands, wrists, and arms for continuous chopping, stirring, lifting, and equipment operation.
• Ability to grip, grasp, push, pull, and work with knives and kitchen tools safely.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE :

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and
• 2 years related F&B experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
