Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children in your care.


• Foster positive communication with children, parents, and fellow staff.


• Organize and lead age-appropriate activities, meals, and routines.


• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, including diapering and handwashing supervision.


• Provide direct care and support to children, including extended care students.


• Adhere to all policies and standards set by Scott County Catholic Schools, the Diocese of Davenport, and the Department of Human Services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.


• Active First Aid and CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire).


• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work in both indoor and outdoor environments.


• Must pass DHS-required physical and maintain good standing with periodic training.
