Required participation in call rotation totaling approximately 10 call days per month
Your Role
Provide inpatient neurology consults, including stroke evaluations and ongoing management
Conduct outpatient neurology clinics, including new patient evaluations and follow up care
Diagnose and manage a wide range of neurological conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Provide therapeutic injections such as Botox for approved neurological indications (e.g., chronic migraine, spasticity, dystonia), as appropriate
Interpret neurological diagnostic studies, including EEGs (EMG interpretation optional)
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation within the electronic medical record
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Nebraska
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to read and interpret EEGs
EMG reading experience (optional)
Experience administering Botox for neurological conditions
Fellowship training in stroke, epilepsy, neuromuscular, movement disorders, or other subspecialties (optional)
Experience with EMR systems
Interest in program development, service line growth, or community outreach
Experience providing both inpatient consults and outpatient clinic care
Strong diagnostic and clinical skills across the spectrum of neurological disorders
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including hospitalists, primary care, and specialty services
Excellent communication skills for patient interaction, documentation, and coordination of care
