Education/Experience Requirements

18 and older

Certified in: ISO 9001-2000

Prior experience in similar job

2 years of Fasteners experience

Experience Levels:

Level I: Up to about 2 years of basic fastener experience / equivalent competence level as a Warehouse Lead

Level II: Up to about 4 years of general experience / equivalent competence level as a Warehouse Lead

Level III: 5 years of advanced experience / equivalent competence level as a Warehouse Lead

Lead: 6 years of advanced experience / equivalent competence level, and ability to successfully share

experience with Level I – III OPS SPVs, other leads and supervisors. 

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, bend and climb

Capability of lifting up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis

Ability to handle seasonal heat exposure

Summary

  • Review schedule and assign work for the most effective use of personnel and equipment
  • Oversee warehouse personnel to: Maintain integrity of Material, packaging and traceability; See that all reworks are pulled correctly and, in a manner, that allows required work to be done by due date; Ensure that orders are pulled, packed, and shipped correctly and in a timely manner
  • Maintain a neat, orderly, and safe work area
  • Enforces safety regulations and Plant work rules. Implements company policies, procedures and manufacturing strategy
  • May interpret job orders to workers, and assigns duties and establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules
  • Completes projects and assignments per specified deadlines
  • Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew
  • Participate in weekly Call Out rotation
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
