What You Will Do as a Cook

  • Provide direct supervision to all kitchen staff

  • Order food, plan menus, and prepare nutritious and balanced meals for individuals served

  • Maintain a clean and sanitary food preparation environment in compliance with Department of Public Health standards

  • Ensure effective communication across staff and residents about dietary needs

  • Maintain ServSafe certification and meet kitchen compliance standards

  • This is a temporary position with the following schedule:
    Monday 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM
    Friday 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
    Saturday 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
    Sunday 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM

What We’re Looking For

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)

  • Food preparation experience (required)

  • Supervisory experience (preferred)

  • ServSafe certification (required)

  • Familiarity with internet, word processing, and email systems (required)

  • Commitment to client empowerment, human rights, and community integration (required)

PAY: $22/hour
