Job Description

Trade31 is looking for a Project Engineer who enjoys staying organized, working with a team, and being involved in projects from start to finish. In this role, you’ll support both the planning and execution sides of our work, gaining exposure to estimating, project coordination, and field operations. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, superintendents, and trade partners to keep projects moving and help deliver quality work the right way.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Support projects from early planning through closeout, assisting with estimating, coordination, and execution

  • Review plans and specifications to help develop budgets, scopes, and takeoffs

  • Assist with subcontractor bidding, scope coordination, and buyout processes

  • Track and manage submittals, RFIs, and project documentation

  • Help maintain project schedules and support budget tracking

  • Coordinate with industry professionals to keep work moving

  • Participate in project meetings and communicate updates across the team

  • Assist with procurement and tracking of materials and long-lead items

  • Support jobsite efforts, including site walks, issue resolution, and quality checks

  • Assist with project closeout and final documentation
