HealthBridge Children’s Hospital is seeking a dependable and compassionate Cook to join our team. In this role, you will help prepare and serve nutritious meals that support the health and well-being of the children and families we serve.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, follows food safety standards, and brings a positive, team-oriented attitude to the kitchen. Your work will play an important role in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare meals according to established recipes, dietary guidelines, and supervisor direction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in kitchen and dining areas
- Deliver meals and trays to designated locations in a timely manner
- Set up and break down dining areas, ensuring a clean and orderly environment
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Dispose of food waste and maintain proper sanitation practices
- Monitor inventory and restock ingredients as needed
- Assist with basic menu planning and cost awareness
- Support the upkeep and proper use of kitchen equipment
