Job Title: Overnight Medication Aide (Full-Time)
Location: Symphony Manor Adult Home

Position Summary:
Symphony Manor Adult Home is seeking a dependable and compassionate Overnight Medication Aide to join our team. This position is essential in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our residents during overnight hours while providing accurate and timely medication administration in accordance with New York State regulations.

Shift: Overnight (e.g., 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities-

Include but not limited too:

Administer medications as prescribed and in compliance with DOH and facility policies
Accurately document medication administration and report any concerns or changes in resident condition
Monitor residents throughout the night to ensure safety, comfort, and well-being
Respond promptly to call bells and resident needs
Assist residents with ADLs as needed (toileting, repositioning, etc.)
Perform routine safety checks and maintain a calm, secure environment
Communicate effectively with incoming day staff regarding any overnight updates or incidents
Maintain cleanliness and organization of medication carts and work areas

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior experience in an adult home, assisted living, or healthcare setting preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow medication protocols
Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently overnight
Excellent communication and observational skills
Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and appropriately
