Job Summary

The Loan Documentation Supervisor will be responsible for the training, leadership, and supervision of the Bank's retail and commercial loan processing team to ensure the department meets organization goals and standards.


Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversees the daily operations of Loan Documentation Preparation – Pre Closing functions; ensuring activities run efficiently and effectively in accordance with policies and procedures designed to strengthen operating infrastructure, improve team responsiveness, and facilitate productivity/efficiency gains
  • Discerns and prepares loan documentation needed to ensure collectability of the loan, attachment, and perfection of security interests, in accordance with loan approval and compliance with federal and state rules and regulations as well as company policies
  • Obtains and reports data points needed to monitor and report compliance with various regulations, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), and Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA)
  • Assists and provides back-up support of all tasks performed by the team
  • Assists the lending team with implementation of procedures, and encourages and supports new ideas
  • Communicates and collaborates with other departments as needed
  • Creates procedures for the team and facilitates training of team on changes, revisions, and updates to processes and procedures
