Job Summary:

Provides role as patient advocate through his/ /her own role modeling of standards of performance and by communicating and meeting patients� needs for service. Assists registered nurses in direct care of patients, specifically patients� activities of daily living. Insures a safe and therapeutic environment on the unit through observation monitoring, interacting and providing/assisting in groups

Requirements:

Bachelor�s degree in any of the social sciences preferred and/or comparable behavioral health experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.

Experience in working with mentally ill and/or developmentally delayed clients.

Candidate must have excellent written skills.

Excellent communication skills.

C.N.A. Preferred: 2% Pay Differential Available to Applicants who maintain an Active CNA License.

Schedule: 20/40 Part Time Nights -Every Other Weekend
