Our hotel

The Balmoral is located at Edinburgh’s most prestigious address, No. 1 Princes Street, where the Old Town stops and the New Town begins. Our hotel’s majestic clock defines the city’s skyline, and since the day we opened in 1902, it has run three minutes fast to ensure our guests will never miss their train.

Your key responsibilities

Rocco Forte Hotels is a collection of iconic hotels that respect the individuality of the location and its team members, encouraging them to be their natural selves while providing a local, authentic experience to our guests.

As a valued part of the Forte family, you will:

  • Accept deliveries and manage the stock effectively according to our business requirements

  • Take pride in your work, both when working independently and as a valuable member of our housekeeping team

  • To accept deliveries and manage linen stock effectively in accordance with business requirements.

  • Tailor your approach so that high-quality results are achieved

  • Deliver discreet, understated, and timely service, going that extra mile

  • Be knowledgeable of the hotel, our facilities, and the local area

  • Take ownership of performing the job well in line with the departmental standards

  • Play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organising storage areas to ensure our guests experience the high level of comfort, quality, and service they expect from the Rocco Forte name

Expected package £31,000 gross per annum (salary plus discretionary service charge)
