Candidates holding a CE, CEAS, or Standard certification in Health Sciences are encouraged to apply. 

     

    Qualifications:

     

    1. Certification in Teacher of Health Sciences (endorsement code #4200) is required.
    2. Masters degree or doctoral degree preferred
    3. Strong subject matter and NJSLS knowledge
    4. Ability to differentiate instruction based upon individual student needs
    5. Strong skill set in lesson planning, curriculum development, assessment, and implementing a variety of pedagogical strategies.
    6. Experience utilizing data to make informed instructional decisions
    7. Strong classroom management and communication skills
    8. Understanding of Universal Design for Learning and inclusive instructional practices

     

    In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Law, the salary range for this position is $65,455 to $109,685.  This position is also eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including health, prescription, dental, and vision insurance, a retirement plan, sick, personal, bereavement, and family illness days.
