- Build relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and professional organizations to enhance the quality and relevance of professional development offerings.
- Work closely with the Director of Curriculum and Instruction to align professional development initiatives with the organization's educational objectives, curriculum standards, and instructional priorities.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for staff on various topics related to professional growth and skill development, per CBA.
- Use data to monitor the effectiveness of professional development initiatives through surveys, assessments, and qualitative feedback. Make adjustments and improvements based on evaluation results.
- Collaboratively plan and design professional development activities that complement and enhance the curriculum and instructional strategies.
- Co-plan for Superintendent Conference Days.
- Collaborate with external partners such as professional development providers and neighboring districts.
- Stay informed about trends and developments in education to ensure the program remains relevant and impactful.
- Organize and lead the monthly Professional Development Committee (PDC) meetings and develop comprehensive agendas for each PDC meeting.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, including curriculum directors and instructional leaders to co-create seasonal catalogs outlining upcoming professional development offerings.
