    The following roles and responsibilities outline the stipend position of Professional Development Coordinator:
    • Identify the professional development needs of staff through surveys, interviews, and other assessment methods.
    • Build relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and professional organizations to enhance the quality and relevance of professional development offerings.
    • Work closely with the Director of Curriculum and Instruction to align professional development initiatives with the organization's educational objectives, curriculum standards, and instructional priorities.
    • Conduct workshops and training sessions for staff on various topics related to professional growth and skill development, per CBA.
    • Use data to monitor the effectiveness of professional development initiatives through surveys, assessments, and qualitative feedback. Make adjustments and improvements based on evaluation results.
    • Collaboratively plan and design professional development activities that complement and enhance the curriculum and instructional strategies.
    • Co-plan for Superintendent Conference Days. 
    • Collaborate with external partners such as professional development providers and neighboring districts.
    • Stay informed about trends and developments in education to ensure the program remains relevant and impactful.
    • Organize and lead the monthly Professional Development Committee (PDC) meetings and develop comprehensive agendas for each PDC meeting.
    • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, including curriculum directors and instructional leaders to co-create seasonal catalogs outlining upcoming professional development offerings.
