- Collaborate with the varsity coach
- Plan and conduct sport-specific daily practice plans
- Prepare and implement appropriate strategies for competitive game success
- Understand the game and rules of the sport
- Evaluate the skills and abilities of athletes
- Supervise practices, games, and travel on bus
- Maintain attendance
- Attend mandatory meetings
- Attend the end-of-the-season award night
- Attend the player and parent/guardian meeting organized by the varsity coach at the beginning of the season
- Help oversee uniform distribution and collection and maintain appropriate records
- Complete end-of-the-year evaluations
- Communicate with the Dean of Students, Activities, and Athletics and the Athletic Trainer on a regular basis
