Position Summary:
Working as part of an integrated product team, the Contracts Administrator Represents PacSci EMC with negotiations regarding price and terms as well discussions with customers on topics pertinent to the performance and administration of both government and commercial contracts. The Contracts Administrator will analyze the customer's terms and conditions for acceptability of any new and/or inconsistent items. The Contracts Administrator facilitates the customer with fact-finding proposal and assists the customer with problem resolution in the performance of the contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administers assigned contracts.
- Support proposal / quote efforts.
- Prepare and submit proposals and quote responses to customers, including transmittal letters.
- Leads negotiation of contracts with the support of the Program Manager or Proposal Manager.
- Maintain communications interface with customer procurement officials (buyers/contract officers) through written and verbal means.
- Receive and respond to customer inquiries, coordinate with other departments.
- Develop / maintain support files, logs, contract files and other company documentation.
- Generate non-hardware billings.
- Provide follow-up with customers to obtain payments.
- Coordinate the submission for technical and hardware licenses and maintain license files/data base.
- Coordinate the submission of data items to customers.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance or related field preferred with 1-5 years’ experience.
- Able to respond to medium complexity, FFP commercial request for quotes.
- Leads negotiations and participates with customers involving negotiations or protection of the company’s interests.
- Exposure to a significant amount of sensitive company data and information.
US Citizenship is a requirement for this position due to U.S. Government contractual requirements
