Vital Health is seeking a reliable, safety-focused Youth Driver to support adolescents in our behavioral health and substance use programs. This role combines safe transportation, structured group support, and positive youth engagement in a trauma-informed environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport youth to/from programming, appointments, and outings
- Complete vehicle safety checks and transportation logs
- Monitor youth during groups, transitions, and activities
- Reinforce structure, expectations, and appropriate boundaries
- Support life skills, positive behavior, and youth development
- Observe and report safety or clinical concerns
- Assist with maintaining safe, organized youth spaces
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1+ year experience working with youth or adolescents
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to manage behavior calmly and professionally
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to work with youth with mental health/SUD diagnoses
Preferred:
- Behavioral health, education, or youth services experience
- CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care
Schedule may include afternoons, evenings, or program-related variations.
