Description
Responsible for provision and coordination of vocational training to a caseload of trainees at work center and on locations. Observes trainees at worksites and gives verbal and written feedback in relation to attainment of stated goals and objectives. Performs training, teaching, testing from an approved curriculum.
Requirements
- Possesses an Associate Degree in mental health or related field.
- Minimum 3 years experience working in mental health field preferred.
- Competent in keeping accurate time records and accurate production computations.
- Will be expected to be certified in CPR and first aid within six months of employment.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with verifiable proof of insurability.
- Custodial experience desired.
- Possesses good observation and problem solving skills.
- Requires some independent decision-making.
- Support and supervision is readily available at job site.
- Must be able to take verbal instructions and complete multi-step, complex tasks.
- Must be able to complete clinical documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Must Monitor own time to ensure needed attention to all trainees on case load.
- May be assigned general oversight of the work center for brief periods in the absence of the Program Director.
