LV Collective is an Austin, Texas based real estate developer seeking a sharp, driven, and proactive Owner's Construction Manager who thrives in the dynamic world of build-phase action. From the final stages of design through construction completion and resident move-in, you'll be the lead "go-to" interface, ensuring seamless coordination of costs, contracts, scheduling, and execution from rendering to reality!

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Planning, Building Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Construction Sciences, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in architecture, building engineering, construction sciences, or real estate development.
  • At least 3 years of project team management experience.
  • Experience in construction techniques for commercial and residential construction.
  • Proficiency in managing construction costs and schedules.
  • Familiarity with architectural, construction, engineering, and other professional service contracts.
  • Experience creating and implementing design and construction project-based budgets and forecasts.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Bluebeam PDF editing software, Microsoft Project, and Procore.

Business Skills

  • Excellent written, graphic, and verbal presentation skills.
  • Understanding of architectural design and construction documentation processes.
  • Knowledge of municipal approval and permitting processes.
  • Understanding of bidding and negotiation processes.
  • Ability to develop and maintain workflow diagramming, scope management, and communications.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to identify and communicate project issues in a timely manner.
  • Proactive in directing team deliverables for project approval, production, and pricing milestones.

Bonus Points if…

  • Previous experience working directly for Owner/Developers
  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience with green building practices, sustainable construction techniques, LEED and FitWel
  • Familiarity with additional project management software tools.
  • Ability to speak Spanish.
