Responsibilities

Corporate & External Communications

  • Lead development and execution of external communications aligned to key clinical, regulatory, and corporate milestones, including OCU400, OCU410, and OCU410ST.

  • Personally draft press releases, corporate announcements, and core messaging. Translate complex clinical, regulatory, and CMC developments into clear, accurate, and compelling narratives.

Investor Communications (in partnership with CFO)

  • Prepare materials that can withstand investor and analyst scrutiny.

Executive Communications

  • Prepare Board-level materials, presentations, and speaking content.

  • Ensure leadership messaging is consistent, precise, and aligned to company priorities.

Agency Management (PR & IR)

  • Optimize agency output in a lean, cost-conscious model.

Digital & Social Communications

  • Oversee website and social media through a small internal structure.

  • Ensure content is purposeful, compliant, and aligned to key milestones and announcements.

Planning & Operational Discipline

  • Drive cross-functional coordination across Clinical, Regulatory, CMC, and Operations.

  • Ensure readiness for key announcements and reduce reactive communication cycles.
