Job Description

**Full time, part time or per diem opportunity**

** Fee for Service **

**Pay is $35.70 per SESSION, sessions are a 1/2 hour long.**

The Summit Center - 2023 and 2024 School of Excellence, as named by the National Association of Special Education Teachers (NASET)

Teacher - Early Autism Program (EAP) works with students between the ages of two and five individually.

A Teacher EAP must be able to consistently and successfully perform all essential functions of the position.

  1. Assure that IFSP/IEP mandates are fulfilled
  2. Demonstrate professional knowledge of children with developmental disabilities
  3. Coordinate development of reports and recommendations
  4. Establish and monitor individual casebooks, data collection and charting systems
  5. Collaborate with related service providers, center-based staff, consultants and supervisors, as necessary
  6. Conduct educational activities that enhance opportunity to develop skills in areas of need
  7. Assure appropriate communication with parents/caregivers, including encouragement of parent participation in instructional sessions
  8. Assure that all required paperwork is completed
