  • Job: Elementary Assistant Principal

  • Contact  - 220 day

  • Assume the responsibility of the principalship in the absence of the principal.

  • Assist the faculty in maintaining discipline and report major infractions to the principal.

  • Assist the principal in providing instructional leadership and supervision.

  • Make recommendations to the principal for the improvement of the educational program, guidance services, and pupil activities.

  • Assist the principal in the preparation of annual reports.

  • Assist in the orientation of new teachers and staff.

  • Collaboratively develop and implement a shared vision and mission.

  • Collect and use data to identify goals, assess organizational effectiveness and promote organization learning.

  • Create and implement plans to achieve goals and promote continuous and sustainable improvement; monitor and evaluate progress and revise plans.

  • Nurture and sustain a culture of collaboration, trust, learning and high expectations.

  • Create a comprehensive, rigorous, and coherent curricular program that will be personalized and motive student learning.

  • Supervise instruction and monitor supervision of students.

  • Develop assessment and accountability systems to monitor student progress.

  • Develop the instructional and leadership capacity of staff.

  • Assist to supervise all extracurricular activities of the school and coordinate activities with other schools of the Crossett School District.
