Savvee Inc. is seeking a strategic Business Analysis and Facilitation SME to support our federal client onsite in Camp Springs, MD. The ideal candidate will lead collaborative discovery efforts to uncover business, policy, and operational needs to then translate them into clear, actionable requirements that guide technical teams and solution design. If you enjoy facilitating cross‑functional working sessions and helping ensure solutions are fully validated, tested, and ready for successful deployment, this position could be a good fit for you.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Leading requirements elicitation and documentation.
• Facilitating stakeholder workshops and working sessions.
• Developing process maps, use cases, and functional specs.
• Supporting Agile backlog grooming and sprint planning.
• Translating policy and operational needs into system requirements.
• Supporting testing, UAT, and deployment readiness.
• Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client.
• Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND TRAINING
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
• Eight or more years as a business analyst/SME
• Five or more years supporting federal programs in areas such as process optimization, requirements analysis, and system integration with a focus on immigration
• Must have the ability to obtain the client’s suitability
• A proficiency in utilizing MS Office products
• Proven familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and responsible use of AI-assisted tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A highly motivated self-starter
• Must be motivated and have excellent customer service skills
DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• One or more of the following certifications: CBAP, PMI-ACP, or an Agile BA certification or equivalent
